May Ball

Saturday 6th May 2017

As you will be aware, after 22 years of dedication to Coloma, Mrs Martin will be retiring as head teacher at the end of the academic year. Therefore, this year's May Ball on 6th May will be held in Mrs Martin's honour.

During the evening we will be showing Mrs Martin how much she is appreciated for all her hard work and commitment to the school, and it would be lovely if as many past and present parents as possible attended. To ensure this, the venue has been moved from the school to the Hilton Hotel, 101 Waddon Way, Purley Way, Croydon, CR9 4HH.

The ticket price remains at £45pp if purchased before the 31st March and £50 after this date. Each ticket includes a welcome drink, a three-course meal, half a bottle of wine per person and live entertainment from Aloma Music.

If you would like to attend, please send an email to coloma.pa@hotmail.co.uk confirming the number of tickets you require.

Don't miss this fabulous evening in honour of Mrs Martin. For more details, see the May Ball flyer in the pop-out menu, top right.

For details of the delicious three-course menu, see the May Ball letter to parents in the pop-out menu, top right.

Coloma Summer Fayre

Our annual Summer Fayre will be on Saturday 8th July 2017. More details coming soon.

 Coloma Memories Book

To mark the 140th Anniversary of the school, a superb book has been published: the Book of Memories. This 178-page book has been a real labour of love for former pupil Mrs Sheila Glasswell. It collects together memories about Coloma over its 140 year history and includes some fantastic old photographs of pupils and teachers both at the current site and also when Coloma was located in Tavistock Road. Copies of the book are available from the school priced at £8 with an additional voluntary donation of £2 towards Coloma Uganda.

To get your copy, simply download the purchase form from the pop out menu on this page, complete and send with your remittance directly to the school.
