Anyone who has been a pupil at Coloma is eligible to be a member of COGA. The Association is essentially a network of past pupils who keep in touch via regular newsletters and enjoy social networking. The highlight of each year is the annual luncheon, held on the second Saturday in May, when COGA members and staff past and present meet at Coloma.
SATURDAY 13th MAY 2017 - ANNUAL REUNION AND LUNCHEON
This year’s reunion luncheon will take place on Saturday 13 May 2017 at the school. Last year we welcomed 110 past pupils and we would like to thank everyone who came and made it such a wonderful occasion.
Everyone had a fantastic day. There were prizes galore in the raffle, plenty of Prosecco, lots of new friends made, along with old friends reunited. There were gasps of amazement from past pupils who had not seen how much the school had grown and smiles of reassurance when they found those old familiar haunts remained unchanged. If you want to make sure you don't miss this year's reunion - put it in your diary now and download the booking form from the documents and links pop out tab on the right-hand side of this page and return it to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can register for the reunion and pay your membership subscription online or by post. Bring yourself up to date by reading our annual newsletter which has just been published and is available to download from the pop out tab.
The menu in the panel on the right hand side page gives you access to some of our event photo galleries.
Welcomed input from past pupils
COGA maintains archives about Coloma’s history. Extracts from the collection are on display at COGA functions. We welcome any contribution to the archives from past pupils, including memories of their time at the school and photos, magazines and past articles!
The Association also continues to have a great interest in the current development of the school and in the activities of present pupils. Many COGA members have been very generous with the time they have given to Coloma careers days and the help they have extended to individual school leavers embarking on careers, higher education or professional training.
We have a small Committee which meets several times a year. Committee members run a stall at the Summer and Christmas Fairs making welcome donations to School Funds. COGA has made generous contributions to stained glass windows, purchased altar cloths for the Chapel, a roving microphone for the school hall and the sign for the Sixth Form Centre. The association also pledged £2,000 towards the capital costs of the all-weather floodlit sports facility, which was completed in October 2010. Recently COGA gave Coloma £2,000 to help with the costs of facilities required for the new Jubilee Centre and we’ve donated towards mini Ipads for the school music department.
Our Membership Secretary is Suzy Stoyel at email@example.com. If you would like to become a member of COGA, please download the form from the pop-out tab at the top right of this page. We have a modest subscription which is used to cover our membership administration costs.
Membership is free for past pupils who are aged under 25. Make sure you complete the form with an email address so that we can communicate with you electronically.
