Coloma Alumnae Association – COGA 2018-03-29T14:37:17+00:00

COGA is Coloma’s alumnae association.  The acronym stands for Coloma Old Girls’ Association but don’t take the description literally as you don’t have to be old to join our organisation!  Anyone who has been a pupil of Coloma is eligible to join our club.  Whether you left this year or thirty years ago, there is no difference and you will be very welcome.

Each year we hold a reunion luncheon at the school. We are now taking bookings for the 2018 event which will be held on SATURDAY 28 APRIL.   A booking form can be downloaded via these links as a Word document (to complete on your computer) or a PDF document (to print and complete). You need to be a member of COGA to attend, so, if you haven’t already paid your 2018 subscription, you can download the membership application form here (Word doc) or here (PDF).

The day will provide a great opportunity to hook up with old friends and make new contacts and we invite past and present members of Coloma’s teaching staff to join us too.  You’ll have a chance to take a look around the school after lunch.  Past pupils are always just as amazed to find the things that haven’t changed as well as the features that have been added, updated, or developed.

The timetable for the reunion event is:

11.30am – Mass in the Chapel

12 noon -Prosecco and canapé reception

12.45pm – Luncheon. Followed by speeches and the COGA Annual General Meeting

4pm – Afternoon tea and tours of the school

5.30pm – Close

Tickets are priced at £25 and the price includes a glass of bubbly at the Prosecco and canapé reception, a two-course luncheon – with a choice of dishes – and a glass of wine, afternoon tea and cakes.   Soft beverages will be available, and a cash bar will be offered for extra drinks.   This year we have appointed a new caterer – Elliott Jones Catering.

Membership for 2018 costs just £7.

Coloma is a successful leading Catholic comprehensive girls’ school and continues to strive for high standards; however, it’s voluntary aided so it needs to finance some of the money needed to keep providing fantastic opportunities for its pupils.  We try to do our bit too, so we raise funds for the school through various initiatives and we will be holding a raffle at the reunion event.  If you’d like to donate a prize, please bring it with you on the day.  If you wish, you can also donate to Coloma with your reunion booking payment.

If you need further information, you can contact Chair and membership secretary, Suzy Stoyel on 07702 039611 or by email at
