We are an Associate School of the Royal Society and a Specialist Science College; we value excellent relationships within a caring community. Extra-curricular activities play a huge part in the life and success of the school and pastoral systems are strong.

We are delighted that you are interested in a career with Coloma Convent Girls’ School – the UK’s highest-achieving comprehensive Catholic girls’ school.
Coloma is the holder of many national excellence awards and has consistently achieved a record of ‘Outstanding’ judgements in all its Ofsted and Diocesan full inspection reports. We are extremely proud of this, particularly as Coloma is one of just 34 schools in the country to have received this prestigious award.
At Coloma we have a tradition of combining both high expectations for all our students and a curriculum that is forward-looking and appropriate to the needs of the 21st century. Throughout its history, Coloma has been popular with parents of children of all abilities and there continues to be a huge demand for places.
We are proud of our success as a genuine comprehensive school and of our reputation for providing a challenging secondary education within a happy and caring environment. This is built firmly upon a belief in the importance of establishing a strong partnership between home and school.
We regard our teaching staff as the most important resource we have. We provide continuous opportunities for development for all of our teaching and support staff through collaboration and the sharing of good practice.
