Easter Surprises

Just before we broke up for Easter the school created Easter boxes that were collected by 87 of our students eligible for free school meals.

Students received food to create 4 healthy lunches with recipe cards including fresh fruit and veg, milk, cheese, bagels, wraps, rice, tinned goods and snacks.

The staff at Coloma kindly donated Easter Eggs to add to the boxes which were topped up by local supermarkets including Sainsbury, Waitrose and Co-Op.

The pack also included some fun activities to keep students entertained over the holiday including a mindful colouring book with pencils, a plant to grow, a game or pack of cards, a face mask for a bit of pampering as well as a range of activity cards with ideas from keep fit exercises to self-care to meditation.
