“My Fair Lady”

A real highlight of the school calendar this year has been the whole school production of ‘My Fair Lady’ which delighted audiences with performances on 7th & 8th March in the Performing Arts Centre.

Six months in the making, with over 90 students from Years 7-13 involved as actors, singers, dancers, members of the symphony orchestra and a large production team, this was a wonderful celebration, showcasing the many artistic and creative talents in our school.

There were many outstanding performances, but special mention must go to Sorcha Lydon as Eliza Doolittle, Pearl Young as Professor Henry Higgins, Eden-Marie Derosa as Colonel Pickering, and Flora Dell’Accio as Alfred P Doolittle.

The creative team was led by Miss Woodacre (Director/Producer), Mr Franklin (Musical Director), Mrs Hope (Assistant Musical Director), and Mr Fagan-King (Technical Director). Professional choreographer Ms Laura Tyrer also led dance workshops for the performers.

Many congratulations to the cast, production team and orchestra for all their hard work and dedication, and thanks to all the staff, parents and students who supported the show.
