Dear Year 11 Students
We hope you are enjoying your summer break. We are looking forward to meeting you soon to arrange your admission to Coloma Sixth Form. In the meantime, we have published new course guides on our website which includes some summer reading and optional exercises to assist you in preparing for the start of your courses in September. Securing your place
GCSE Results Day is on Thursday 12th August 2021.
Students already attending Coloma in Year 11 should be ready to attend their enrolment meeting, with a senior member of staff, on the same day, Thursday 12th August, between 9am and 12.30pm in the sixth form centre. We will review your results and confirm your subject choices at this meeting.
Students joining Coloma from another school, should bring their GCSE results slip in person to the Sixth Form Centre between 11.30am and 3pm on Thursday 12th August, where our senior staff will meet you, confirm your pathway and discuss any changes you wish to make in light of your results.
A second enrolment session on Friday 13th August between 10am and 2pm for students who are unable to attend on Thursday 12th August. If you wish to request a change of subject, we strongly advise enrolling at the earliest opportunity as new places will be limited on many courses.
Following your enrolment meeting, you will receive your Sixth Form place confirmation letter and enrolment pack. Your first day in Sixth Form will be Friday 3rd September 2021, which will be a transition day for Year 12 only. We will send you a full programme following your enrolment.
Your lessons will begin as a normal full-time timetable on Monday 6th September.
If you cannot attend on Thursday 12th August or Friday 13th August in person, it is very important that you contact us to make an alternative enrolment arrangement as soon as possible.
