Welcome to Coloma Convent Girls Sixth Form: A supportive, high-achieving, and nurturing community where every student is encouraged to thrive.
At Coloma, our mission is to motivate, empower and develop young people to make a meaningful difference in the world, both now and in the future. We are dedicated to providing a wide range of academic and personal development opportunities that build self-belief, stretch students beyond their comfort zones, and spark curiosity about the world around them.
Our students are ambitious, self-motivated, and passionate about learning. They benefit from outstanding teaching, personalised academic support, and enrichment opportunities that bring their subjects to life. We offer an extensive selection of A-Level and vocational courses, taught by expert subject specialists who create challenging, engaging, and memorable learning experiences. Many of our staff also serve as examiners, using their detailed knowledge of exam boards to help students excel.
As a result, our students consistently achieve excellent examination outcomes, enabling them to pursue their aspirations in higher education, apprenticeships, and employment.
Our Sixth Form is shaped by the four pillars of our 'Readiness Curriculum', which ensures that every student is prepared for the next stage of life:
Careers
Character Curriculum
Catholic Life
Enrichment
Whether students are progressing to university, further training, or the world of work, our curriculum equips them with the academic strength, personal confidence, and moral grounding needed to succeed and lead with purpose.
We are proud to nurture the next generation of female leaders. Leadership is woven into the fabric of Sixth Form life through opportunities such as the Student Voice, Pupil Parliament, school representation roles, and prefect positions
We are proud of our community and excited for all that lies ahead for each individual, and for the collective future they will help shape. We warmly invite you to join us on this journey.
Kind regards,
Miss L Sutherland
